This year’s St Malo – La Rochelle – Bordeaux trip is split into TWO versions.
Shorter version (St Malo – La Rochelle) – 4 Days / 4 Nights (3 or 4 days riding – you choose)
Long version (St Malo – Bordeaux) – 8 Days / 7 Nights (5 or 7 days riding – you choose)

Jersey Port

Meet at 08:00
We all meet at the ferry terminal for an 09:10 departure. Upon arrival in St. Malo we’ll either ride as one group or split into two groups of similar ability. We’ll be heading south south-west for pretty much the entire 110km, each group will have a designated ride leader, and everyone will ride along the same route.
Our bus and driver will follow behind with supplies, spares and luggage.
Saturday evening we’ll head to a local restaurant for dinner and drinks.
We’ll be heading south south-east for pretty much the entire 110km, culminating in a cycle over the suspension bridge at St Nazaire. Again we’ll either ride as one group or split into two groups of similar ability. Each group will have a designated ride leader, and everyone will ride along the same route.
Our bus and driver will follow behind with supplies, spares and luggage.
The hotel at St Brevin Les Pins is a Spa Hotel so swim suits are an option.
Sunday evening we’ll head to a local restaurant for dinner and drinks.
Today’s route initially takes us south-east for half distance then south to La Rochelle. Again we’ll either ride as one group or split into two groups of similar ability. Today is the biggest day in the saddle totalling 180km! We will split the ride into 2 or 3 parts stopping for a quick coffee and lunch. Each group will have a designated ride leader, and everyone will ride along the same route.
Our bus and driver will follow behind with supplies, spares and luggage.
The hotel at La Rochelle is a Spa Hotel so swim suits are an option and massage is available (book in advance).
Monday evening we’ll head to a local restaurant for dinner and drinks.
Today is a rest day / transfer day / recovery ride day – YOU CHOOSE!
Guests on the short trip will be transported back to St Malo (Tuesday evening) for the ferry Wednesday morning.
This leaves Tuesday as a free choice day to either lounge around the hotel, go for a recovery ride, sightseeing, spa – YOU CHOOSE what to do on your day off!
The hotel at La Rochelle is a Spa Hotel so swim suits are an option and massage is available (book in advance).
Tuesday evening the longer group guests will head to a local restaurant for dinner and drinks.
South-east today for pretty much the entire 110km, again we’ll either ride as one group or split into two groups of similar ability. Setting off reasonably early we should arrive at our hotel just after lunchtime. The hotel at Cognac has an outdoor swimming pool so bring your swimwear! Each group will have a designated ride leader, and everyone will ride along the same route.

Wednesday evening we’ll head to a local restaurant for dinner and drinks.
Straight south today, chasing the sun! We’ll continue to either ride as one group or split into two groups of similar ability. We should arrive in Bordeaux by mid afternoon where we should have time for some sightseeing before dinner. Each group will have a designated ride leader, and everyone will ride along the same route.

Thursday evening we’ll head to a local restaurant for dinner and drinks.
Today is a rest day / Tour De France arrival in Bordeaux Day!
A once in a lifetime opportunity to watch the TDF arrive in Bordeaux. Through our partners we will attempt to get back stage passes to the TDF for all guests (can’t promise, but we’ll try).
Friday evening we’ll head to a local restaurant for dinner and drinks.
Final day and a long drive back to St Malo.
Our bus and driver will transport us back to St Malo for the evening ferry back to Jersey.
